Through the use of everyday objects, these works begin to create their own macrobiotic existence, evoking contemplation by drawing parallels between the home and the natural world: Reflecting on patterns and behaviours in order to explore the domestic space as both a social and cultural ecosystem.
Symbolic of scientific enquiry the work challenges the viewer to examine their own everyday and its intrinsic relationship to the well-being of self, society and the natural world.
