Exploring the intersections between art and science, I like to create new ways of working with environmental data in order to develop works that capture and create sites of ecological observation.

As an artist I am intrigued with the idea of connection, and work across a range of media including assemblage, installation and digital media to explore connections and relationships with the natural world in a way that evokes curiosity and reflection.  I believe that the art/science field provides a powerful catalyst to challenge our discourse, raise environmental awareness and promote conservation of our ecology; by providing new ways of 'seeing' and creating new 'connections' in the mind of the viewer.

I have undertaken a number of residencies with organisations such as the Queensland Herbarium, Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Tanks Art Centre and the Department of Science, Information, Technology and Innovation (DSITI). I hold a Bachelor of Arts (ART) from Curtin University and have works held in both public and private collections.  I have exhibited widely in both solo and selected group exhibitions; and had work feature in state and national touring exhibitions.
